Privacy policy
Draft to be reviewed before final publication (privacy consultant / accountant).
Data controller: Davide Tomio, [address — to be added], VAT [VAT no. — to be added]. Contact: info@davidetomiovenice.it.
Data we collect
- Bookings: name, email, phone (optional), number of guests, notes, any invoicing details, discount code or gift card used.
- Gift cards: name and email of the buyer and, if you provide them, of the recipient, with the message you add.
- Multi-day programmes: the details of your request (dates, group make-up, interests, accommodation, budget, languages) and our correspondence about the proposal. If you mention mobility or accessibility needs we use them only to organise the service: please share them only if you want us to take them into account.
- Partner (B2B) accounts: company and contact details (company name, VAT number, SDI/PEC code, address, name, email, phone) and password (stored only in encrypted form).
- Feedback: if you send us an opinion after the service (rating, comment and whether we may quote it).
- Messages sent through the contact form.
- Tax documents: the details needed to issue an invoice (name, address, VAT number or tax code).
- Minimal technical data in server logs (IP address, date and time of requests) for security and abuse prevention.
Why and on what basis
- To carry out the booking, gift card or programme you requested and send you confirmations, vouchers and reminders (performance of a contract).
- To meet tax and accounting obligations, including the electronic invoice sent through the Italian Exchange System (legal obligation).
- To ask you, once the day after the service, for your opinion about the experience (legitimate interest in improving the service; you can object at any time by writing to info@davidetomiovenice.it).
- To keep the site secure and prevent abuse (legitimate interest).
- To answer your messages (pre-contractual measures / legitimate interest).
We do not profile users and we do not sell data to third parties.
Who we share it with
Only with providers needed to run the service, acting as processors: the card payment provider (Stripe), the email service and the hosting provider. Electronic invoices go through the Italian Exchange System of the Revenue Agency. Data may be disclosed to tax advisers and to authorities where required by law.
If the owner connects their personal calendar to avoid overlaps, the site only reads the times of their appointments (not the details) and this does not involve visitors' data.
How long we keep it
Booking, gift card and invoice data is kept for the period required by tax and accounting rules (normally 10 years). Unconfirmed programme requests, contact messages and feedback are kept as long as needed to reply and improve the service. Partner accounts are kept until closed.

You can ask for access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection by writing to info@davidetomiovenice.it. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian data protection authority, the Garante (garanteprivacy.it), or with your local authority.
